Randall Reed’s Planet Ford Donates Marquee to Humble Middle School

In April, Randall and Sherry Reed, owners of Randall Reed’s Planet Ford in Humble on Hwy. 59, along with General Manager/Operating Partner, Chuck Kramer donated a brand new school marquee to Humble Middle School in Texas. In 2008, Hurricane Ike, the costliest hurricane in Texas history, destroyed several areas in Galveston and Houston. A middle school located in the Humble ISD had their school sign destroyed and had been unable to raise enough funds to restore it, until the Reeds and Mr. Kramer learned of their need.

Not only did the Reeds and Planet Ford donate a beautiful marquee to the school, but later that night at the Humble ISD Education Foundation Gala they awarded the teacher of the year a brand new 2013 Ford Escape. Another sign of support from the Planet Ford family was the establishment of a $5,000 scholarship fund that will go to a graduating senior.  Randall Reed and his team continue to make strides to support local school districts and plan to replicate this program in every single one of his dealerships markets.
