Randall Reed’s Planet Ford in Humble celebrated their official grand opening with a Texas-size celebration. Randall and Sherry Reed, owners and Chuck Kramer, Operating Partners/General Manager welcomed Ford Motor Company CEO Mark Fields among many other Ford executives, local celebrities and even a few big name celebrities were spotted in the crowd. The Reed family unveiled their New Showroom, Pre-Owned Showroom, Service Drive and the much-anticipated Cruiser’s Cafe. The on-site, full-service restaurant offers a full menu of good eats, sweet treats and an extra helping of Mustang nostalgia. From the Mustang artwork to the themed men and ladies’ room. It’s a car-lovers dream diner come true.
The Modern Ford Dealership
Planet Ford’s beautiful facility features a new showroom, pre-owned showroom and service facilities that incorporate an improved customer communicative-flow into the design. Customers were at the heart of all of the decisions made, including creature comforts. There is a choice of three guest lounges with coffee bars, computer stations, comfortable seating, large-screen televisions and complimentary Wi-Fi. The service department has an extensive covered drive and advisor area to ensure customers are protected from the elements.
One of the most delicious new features is the dealership’s full-service, retro Mustang-themed restaurant called Cruiser’s Café. When you walk in, you’ll feel you’ve stepped back in time. It’s a car-lovers dream diner come true. Mustang gear can be found everywhere down to the ladies’ and mens’ rooms, which are themed after the legendary Boss 302 and Mach 1 Mustangs. The restaurant opening coincides with the Ford Mustang’s 50th anniversary.
Giving Back – Planet Ford Cares
Planet Ford in Humble has a legacy of giving that continues during our grand opening month celebration. Memorial Hermann Northeast’s Project Mammogram benefits from both the grand opening silent auction and month-long Pinktober proceed donations with each new Ford sold. This is especially timely as October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month.
The dealership has been an active member of the Humble, Kingwood, Atascocita, Pasadena and greater Houston community since 1993. The award-winning team looks forward to expanding that role in the with the opening of this Ford Trustmark designed dealership.
The owners and staff frequently donate manpower, money and resources to various local charities including Humble ISD, Village Learning and Achievement Center, Northeast Hospital Foundation, Project Mammogram, Kingwood Park Best Buddies and local first responders with donations of more than $150,000 each year.
Randall Reed and Planet Ford Humble were honored with Ford’s 2013 Salute to Dealers for its impact in the community, one of only six dealers worldwide to earn the exclusive distinction.
