Once again, Planet Ford on Hwy. 59 is proud to support the National FFA Scholarship Program in conjunction with Ford Motor Company Fund. The Houston-area Ford dealership will be supporting $1,000 scholarships paid to students with Humble FFA, Summer Creek FFA, Atascocita FFA, Kingwood FFA, Kingwood Park FFA, Porter FFA and New Caney FFA. In total, the Planet Fords stores will be handing out checks for $12,000 in total this year.
“We are excited to be part of helping our young people’s educational dreams come true,” said Mr. Reed, owner of Planet Ford in Humble. “We can’t wait to see how far they go and all that they accomplish in the years to come.”
2019 marks the 72nd year that Ford and our trucks have been part of supporting the FFA. In fact, Ford is one of the largest corporate sponsors of scholarships in the National FFA scholarship program. Since 1997, Ford and participating Ford dealers have awarded more than $11.8 Million in scholarships to FFA members.
