Very exciting news! Our New Car Showroom at Randall Reed’s Planet Ford in Humble is complete. Our construction crew has been hard at work improving our facility to help us provide you with a better dealership experience.

With construction being completed in the showroom,  the staff at Planet Ford (serving Kingwood, Conroe, Atascocita, and greater Houston) is excited to be able to serve customers in a more “autotaining” environment. With the customer in mind, the team has been working hard to create a true “autotainment” experience for everyone who walks through the door.

Randall Reed, owner of Planet Ford in Humble, along with Chuck Kramer, GM/OP, celebrated Charlie Duke, Humble ISD’s 2013-2014 District Teacher of the Year. Mr. Reed and the Planet Ford in Humble team presented Mr. Duke with a brand new 2014 Ford vehicle!

For the 2nd year in a row, Planet Ford has awarded an all-new Ford Escape or a sporty Ford Fusion to a much-deserving teacher. The Reed Family also awarded a resort vacation in Sedona to Lisa Guin. She was the runner-up for Teacher of the Year. Her prize pack comes complete with airfare and lodging in an exclusive, private villa.

Mr. Duke was selected from the top 10 nominees from among those selected by their campuses as Teacher of the Year for 2013-2014. “We believe contributing to the future of our children and community is crucial,” said Randall Reed. “One of the biggest factors for both are the educators who teach and help raise the children who will define our future.”

Friday, April 4th, 10 finalists for District Teacher of the Year were honored at the Humble ISD Education Foundation Gala held at the Humble Civic Center. During the Gala, the Elementary and/or Secondary Teacher of the Year is named, and the District Teacher of the Year is named. Both will represent Humble ISD in the Region 4 Teacher of the Year Contest.

Humble Police Association’s Annual Crawfish Boil

Planet Ford in Humble (serving Houston, Kingwood, Atascocita, Katy and Conroe) we happy to once again sponsor this wonderful event.  Chuck Kramer, General Manager/Operating Partner; Kristi Williams, Community Relations Coordinator/Exec. Admin. Asst., various team members and our custom Ford F-150 were at the event, as well.  All of the proceeds will help raise money for scholarships for the children of fallen law enforcement and firefighters. The funds will also assist with finger printing and DARE programs.

We had a ton of people show up to help us have a wonderfully successful FUNdraiser to help Mosaic and Best Buddies raise funds to help pay for their much-needed transportation (also sponsored in part by Planet Ford on Hwy. 59).

Planet Ford Sponsors YMCA’s Dancing for Partners

P59.Social.Community.dancingforpartnersRandall Reed’s Planet Ford in Humble is proud to be a sponsor of The Lake Houston Family YMCA 6th annual Dancing for Partners fundraising.

We invite you to join us today (April 24) at the Humble Civic Center. The audience uses their admission tickets to vote for their favorite performance and the couple receiving the most votes will be the 2014 Dancing for Partners Champion. Doors open at 5:30 p.m. and the performance begins at 7 p.m.
This year’s competition will be a Reunion show and feature 13 returning and two new community leaders who are paired with local dance instructors. Dancing for Partners includes: Kathy Adkins, Rick Alspaugh, Eileen Bell, Scott Brady, Jonathan Brinsden, Michael Clapp, Dan Davis, Danell Fields, Christie Harrison, Brian Leatherwood, Susan Lunson, Heath Rushing, Guy Sconzo, Corey Turner and Michael Woehst. All will be performing: Jazz, Hip Hop, Broadway, Hustle, Swing and Ballroom — just to name a few.
Tickets are $50 per person and will be non-reserved seating. Please check with the Y after to confirm availability. The YMCA Annual Campaign is the Lake Houston Family YMCA’s scholarship fund drive. The fundraiser helps with financial assistance for children and families in our community who can not afford the cost of YMCA programs.
