Fuel economy can be a big factor in selecting a truck for many consumers.  In fact, about 40% of F-150 buyers are already choosing a more fuel efficient V6 engine over the traditional V8. To meet the needs of consumers, Ford has the EcoBoost engine, which is a V6 (and touts the fuel efficiency) but provides towing and hauling capabilities similar to the bigger V8.

Among the new features offered on the new F-150, there is a tailgate that can be locked, unlocked and released remotely and a camera system that assists in parking by giving the driver a view of the truck as if seen from above.
