Planet Ford Community Director Makes Houston Headline

Kristi Williams community humbleAt Randall Reed’s Planet Ford in Humble, we have a lot to be proud of, from our 4th consecutive Triple Crown to our award-winning team.  One of those team members is making headlines of her own with Planet Ford.  Kristi Williams, Director of Community Relations, is featured in The Tribune newspaper this week for her outstanding work in the community on behalf of Planet Ford on Hwy. 59.

In the article, Mrs. Williams is referred to as the dealership’s “secret weapon,” and the Planet Ford team would agree. “Kristi has worked diligently to create so many wonderful community connections,” said Chuck Kramer, General Manager and Operating Partner of Planet Ford. “We believe it is key that our dealership and team give back and help the community that we are thankful to be a part of.”

Randall Reed, owner of Planet Ford and World Class Automotive agrees, “Kristi is passionate about her job and about our community. She’s been fundamental in helping us select, and continue to seek out, a variety of organizations, charities and events that allow us to offer support to our schools, our children and those in need of a helping hand. ”

The article highlighted several community leaders that share a similar point of view. Humble ISD School Superintendent Guy Sconzo, for example, says Mrs. Williams is “amazing.” He added, “That’s the only word coming close to adequately describing Kristi. Her passion for making life better for children is unparalleled. She is always there when needed and often, she takes the initiative to provide even when not asked! She and Randall Reed have been a very real blessing to literally thousands of children in our schools.”

Some of the organizations Mrs. Williams, Randall Reed, Chuck Kramer and Planet Ford are proud to work with include: Best Buddies, Village Learning Center, Memorial Hermann Northeast and Project Mammogram, Wounded Warriors, Humble ISD Education Foundation, the local FFA and Houston Rodeo, just to name a few.

Mrs. Williams has had only three jobs in her lifetime. Thankfully, Planet Ford became part of that list after she met, Mr. Reed. “When I worked for two OB/GYNs,” Mrs. Williams recalls, “I was a customer of Randall’s and for months he asked me to come work for him. We became friends. I saw his passion for giving, his faith and his belief in honor and support for those in need. How could I not say yes?”

Over the years, Mrs. Williams has helped pay the Reed’s and Planet Ford family’s passion for community forward.  “Kristi Williams has embraced Project Mammogram and become a true ambassador for the program,” said Memorial Hermann Northeast CEO Heath Rushing. “Her commitment to helping raise much needed dollars to help support this vital program demonstrates her commitment to our community. Project Mammogram provides breast screening services for women who could not otherwise afford or access the services. Without community champions like Kristi, the breast screenings would simply not occur.”

Others share the same sentiment.  “Kristi is one of a kind,” said Kim Brusatori, founder and CEO of The Village Learning Center. “She is one of the most enthusiastic and driven supporters that The Village has. As a representative of Randall Reed’s Planet Ford, she has one of the best jobs in the world. Through Randall Reed’s commitment to the local community, Kristi is able to spread joy and happiness to others. Who wouldn’t love a job like hers?”

Mrs. Williams loves her job and working with the community. It shows in all that she does each and every day. The Planet Ford in Humble team is proud to see her receive recognition for her hard work in this week’s The Tribune news. We invite you to read more of the article by clicking here.
