Congratulations are in order for a very special American veteran.  Chuck Kramer, General Manager/Operating Partner of  Randall Reed’s Planet Ford in Humble family (serving the Houston area) presented Ms. Greene with the Planet Ford’s Spring Texas Music Fest Ford F-150.

In July, the U.S. Army Veteran, along with two other deserving veterans, were named as winners of Planet’s Vehicles for Veterans doing the event by Vincent Wilfork, of the Houston Texans.

Jack Goodroe, U.S. Marine Corp Veteran, was awarded an all-expense paid cruise for two.  Andy Toppin, U.S. Army and Military Police Veteran, was awarded $1,000. All three were also presented with a commemorative, custom created Spring Texas  Music Fest guitar.

“Reading all of the essays and looking through the pictures, it was easy to see all of the heroes on our community and very hard for the committee to choose,” he added.

Mr. Wilfork, the celebrity guest announcer, is one of the premier defensive tackles. He was named both to the Pro Bowl and the All-Pro team in 2007, 2009, 2010, 2011, and 2012. He has a great passion for helping others and does so through the Vincent Wilfork Foundation, whose overall purpose is to be source of support for any and all non-profit organizations, including supporting our military and veterans.

Planet Ford supports the same ideals and was happy to have Mr. Wilfork as part of this huge community event.  “The Reed and Planet Ford families are thrilled to be able to help our veterans in need,” said Mr. Reed. “We appreciate so many coming together, including Mr. Wilfork to help support these wonderful community events.”

Houston Texan Player to Present Planet Ford Truck to Wounded Warrior

Planet Breaks Ground for Quick Lane in Porter, Texas

Planet Ford Humble Supports Hiring Our Heroes Job Fair, Charity Concert

Randall Reed, Planet Ford in Humble and World Class Automotive Group are proud to support the Hiring Our Heroes event taking place May 17, 2016, at 10110 Technology Blvd. in Dallas, Texas.

  • Hiring workshops at 12:30 p.m.
  • Veteran job fair from 2 to 5 p.m.
  • Speakers at 5:30 pm (including Randall Reed, CEO of World Class Automotive)
  • Charity rock concert at 7 p.m.

The hiring event is being conducted by the U.S. Chamber of Commerce Foundation, Operation Rock the Troops, Fort Worth Chamber of Commerce, the Department of Labor Veterans’ Employment and Training Service (DOL VETS), the Texas Committee of the Employer Support of the Guard and Reserve (ESGR), Texas Veterans Commission, Texas Veterans Leadership Program, Texas Workforce Commission, the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs, Goodwill Industries International, The American Legion, NBC News, and other local partners.

“We’re honored to be part of this wonderful event that helps connect our military heroes with great job opportunities,” said Mr. Reed. “I’m please to be one of the many great speakers at this event, as well.”

The prestigious lineup of speakers from 5:30 to 7 p.m. includes: Sgt. Steven Jackel, a Purple Heart recipient who is known as “The Motivator;” Randall Reed, Owner and CEO of World Class Automotive Group and Reed Enterprises; and Eric Eversole, President of Hiring Our Heroes.
